The chapters on “Evidence”, “Opposition to registration”, “Revocation of registration on grounds of non-use”, “Revocation of registration (including defensive, collective and certification marks) on grounds other than non-use” and “Declaration of invalidity of registration of trade mark, collective or certification mark” have been revised to highlight the difference between pleadings and evidence, and the requirement that evidence shall be filed by way of statutory declaration or affidavit.
