Beware of fraudulent calls, scam emails or messages Some members of the public indicated to have received several calls purportedly made by the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) recently where no application for registration has been filed with the department. After verification, such calls were not made by our staff.
The IPD urges the public to stay vigilant against fraudulent calls, scam emails or messages purportedly made or issued by the department.
For verification of any calls claiming to be from the IPD, please call our hotline at 2961 6901 or email us at enquiry@ipd.gov.hk. You may also seek assistance from the Anti-Scam Helpline at 18222. |
